Construyendo is a non-profit association founded in 2008 with the noble mission of promoting volunteer solidarity through construction projects focused on raising the quality of life of the neediest families in Mexico. 💪❤️

What Construyendo does? Much more than you can imagine! With the help of committed volunteers and generous benefactors, they carry out construction projects in key areas such as housing 🏘️, education and special projects 📚. These include ⛑️ shelters, community centers, health clinics, prayer centers 🙏 and reconstruction after natural disasters 🌀.
Construyendo's presence extends to at least 9 states in Mexico, where they have carried out projects in more than 25 locations. Their tireless dedication and unwavering effort have managed to positively impact thousands of people in vulnerable situations. 🌟💚
So far, they have built a total of 1,805 homes 🏡 and 163 school classrooms 🏫, benefiting no less than 36,277 people. In addition, they have the invaluable support of 52,794 volunteers committed to their cause. Isn't that simply impressive to you? 👏🌟😊
The year 2022 represented a particularly arduous challenge for Construyendo, as they had to adapt to the new normal and face the ravages of an economic recession resulting from various factors. 😓
However, thanks to the tireless collaboration of everyone involved, they were able to overcome these obstacles and change the lives of more than 5,998 people who desperately needed a home, classroom or community spaces. A deafening round of applause for them! 👏🌟🙌
The tangible impact of its work is reflected in the achievements during that year: 3,878 dedicated volunteers, 122 homes built, 23 educational spaces created, 2 hand-washing stations installed, 16 municipalities impacted and 7 states benefited. 🌍🔨📚
With all this display of Construyendo's unwavering devotion and commitment to its mission, we cannot fail to highlight the financial achievements obtained in the year 2022 💰. Thanks to the generous support of 139 sponsors 💙, they managed to raise a staggering $36,257,662, of which $34,951,559 was directly invested in construction projects. 👷♀️👷♂️
The intelligent distribution of these funds was key to maximizing their impact: 74% went to the construction of housing 🏘️, 14% to the construction of school classrooms 🏫 and 8.5% was channeled to special projects 🔨. Administrative expenses accounted for only 3.5%. Every peso invested has generated a significant impact on people's lives! 💰
However, Construyendo is not limited to physical construction. They recognize that in order to build a promising future, a solid and empowered community must also be built. 💪 For this reason, they provide training and personal development programs to beneficiary families, fostering their autonomy and strengthening their capacity to improve their quality of life in the long term. 👨👩👧👦📚
In addition, they actively promote the participation of young leaders and establish strategic alliances with other organizations, in order to expand their impact and continue building a more just and equitable Mexico, becoming a true beacon of hope for those who need it most. 🤝🌟
But that is not all. Construyendo works according to a Social Intervention and Impact Methodology aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations. 🌍 Its approach is directly aimed at addressing poverty rates in the intervened communities 🌱, improving health 🏥, fostering quality education 👩🏫, promoting gender equity and seeking inclusive relationships. 🌈
In fact, they actively contribute to 7 of the 17 SDGs set by the UN 🎯: End Poverty, Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Peace Justice and Strong Institutions, and Partnerships to Achieve the Goals. 💙🌍
